Q: What are the taxes?
A:14.75% and $3.50 per room per night.
Q: What is check in/check out time?
A: Check-in is at 3:00 PM. Check-out is at 11:00 AM.
Q: Is smoking permitted in the hotel?
A: Smoking is NOT permitted in any part of the hotel or in the guest rooms.
Q: Is there a charge for Wi-Fi access?
A: Wi-Fi access is complimentary for all guests at Dylan Hotel NYC.
Q: Do you have a fitness center?
A: Our 24-hour fitness center features free weights and cardio equipment.
Q: Are pets allowed?
A: Unfortunately, pets are NOT permitted at Dylan Hotel NYC. We accept only service dogs with valid documentation.
Q: Do you offer room service? What are the hours?
A: Dylan Hotel NYC offers room service from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM Monday-Friday and from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday by Benjamin Steakhouse, on premises.
Q: Do you have a business center?
A: Yes. It is located in the hotel lobby.
Q: Do you have coffee/tea maker in the rooms?
A: Yes, each room features a coffee maker with gourmet coffee and tea.
Q: Do you have refrigerators in the rooms?
A: Yes, each room features a mini-refrigerator.
Q: Does the hotel require a deposit for incidentals?
A: Yes, the hotel requires a $50 deposit, per room, per night.
Q: How much money does the hotel authorize on my credit card at check-in?
A: At check-in, we authorize your entire stay's room and tax charges, plus an incidental deposit.
Q: When will the incidental deposit be returned to me?
A: The incidental deposit is released on the day of your departure. Please note, reimbursement time depends on your bank's policy.
Q: Does the hotel accept packages on behalf of guests? Is there a fee to handle or store packages?
A: Yes, we will be happy to hold up to two (2) packages for you complimentary. For each additional package there is a $15.00 storage/service fee. Packages may arrive no earlier than 7 days prior to your stay. You must have a valid reservation and/or be a registered guest at Dylan Hotel NYC. For everyone's safety, if the package does not have a registered guest name, it will be returned to sender.
Q: I have questions about my bill after I left the hotel?
A: Please contact the Hotel Accounting Department for assistance or call 212-338-0500 and ask for the Accounting Department.
Q: What forms of payment are accepted to pay for my room?
A: A valid credit card is required to check into the hotel however guests may use cash or credit card at check-out to settle their bill.
Q: I booked on a website OTHER THAN Dylan Hotel NYC website and I need to change to reservation?
A: Please contact the booking agent or website you originally make the reservation with.
Q: What is the minimum age requirement to check in to the hotel?
A: 18 years old.
Q: What is your cancelation/deposit policy?
A: If booked directly through the Hotel, we have a 24-hour prior to arrival cancelation policy on most reservations. You must cancel by 3pm Eastern Standard Time (EST) the day prior to arrival to avoid penalty of one night's room and tax charges. On certain reservations, prepaid and group bookings, a special cancelation policy may apply. If booked through a third party, please contact the booking agent or website directly for cancelation policies.
Q: Is my ID or passport required at check in?
A: We do require a photo ID at the time of check-in for all reservations.

A: By car, estimated travel times are as follows:
- John F. Kennedy International Airport: 50 minutes

Q: Do you have valet parking? How much is parking?
A: Yes. Valet parking is available at a daily rate of $55 sedan and $65 small SUV plus tax per 24 hours (no in/out privileges).
